TeleLatino ULTRA: one APK for TV and mobile

Many IPTV services end up maintaining two apps: one for the TV and another for the phone. TeleLatino ULTRA solves that with a single APK that contains two complete interfaces: one designed for the remote control and a touch interface for phones and tablets.

How it decides which interface to show

When the app opens, TeleLatino ULTRA checks the device type. On Android TV, Fire TV or a device without a touchscreen, it opens the TV interface. On a device with a touchscreen, it opens the mobile interface. On tablets of 600 dp or more, the mobile grids are enlarged to use the extra space.

Viewers can change it in Settings between Automatic, TV/remote and Mobile portrait. From the panel you also set the initial mode for every device.

TV interface: everything with the arrow keys

On TV, sections sit in tabs at the top (MATCH, live TV, movies, series, anime, highlights, kids and explore) and everything is reached with the arrow keys and the center button. The top bar holds search, favorites, history, notices, profile, settings, the clock and the VPN indicator.

Mobile interface: built for touch

On the phone the app runs in portrait, with a bottom bar for Home, TV and Profile, a search box at the top and swipeable rows. Mobile live TV has its own built-in player, with category and favorites tabs.

What both share

Both interfaces use the same account, the same settings and the same panel. Favorites, history and "Continue watching" points are saved per account. The app is translated into Spanish, English and Portuguese and runs from Android 5.0.

One APK for your brand

For a reseller, this means distributing and updating a single file with your name, your logo and your package name. When a new version is available, the mobile app can check for it in Settings and download it inside the app.
