Free updates, delivered by you: how Streamflix updates every customer from your panel
Upload the new APK, set the version and the release notes, and every customer's app offers the update. A look at App & notices and what free updates mean in Streamflix.
Most white-label apps are sold once and then left alone. Streamflix is built the other way around: updates are free, and you push them to every customer yourself, from your own panel, without asking anyone to download anything by hand.
How an update reaches your customers
- You receive the new signed APK of your brand.
- You upload it to your app folder and copy its download link.
- In App & notices you set the latest version code, the version name and the release notes.
- The app checks for news when it opens and every time it comes back to the foreground. If there is a newer version it shows the release notes, downloads the APK and opens the installer.

Talk to your customers without a new build

- Maintenance mode blocks the app for everyone with a message you write, while you work on the service.
- Notice to customers shows a title and a message when the app opens, with the importance you choose (informational, warning or critical).
- Free trial from the app lets a new device create a trial without a reseller, with one trial per device and a cap per IP.
- Support and download holds your WhatsApp, Telegram, email and the download link for new customers.
One thing to protect: your signing key
Android only installs an update over an existing app when both are signed with the same key. Your APK is signed with a key made for your brand, so keep a backup of it: if you lose it, your customers could not update in place.
