$5 Fiverr IPTV rebrand vs a professional service: what they don't tell you
On Fiverr there are rebrand gigs from 5 dollars and services that charge 100 for what looks like the same thing. We take the difference apart piece by piece, without demonizing anyone.
Let's do the exercise everyone does before buying from us: open Fiverr, type "IPTV rebrand" and look at the prices. Five dollars. Twenty. Fifty. So why do specialized services charge 60, 100 or 300 for "the same thing"? Short answer: because it isn't the same thing. Long answer, below — and without demonizing anyone, because there are freelancers who do decent work.
What the $5 gig does give you
Exactly what the title promises: your logo and your name on top of an existing APK. To test an idea over a weekend, that's enough. The problem isn't what it includes, but what it doesn't — and you only discover that weeks later, once you've already built customers on top of it.
The five differences you pay for in the price
Your own package name. The express rebrand usually reuses the identifier of the original APK. The consequence? Google Play Protect recognizes it and paints your customers the "harmful app detected" warning; and if your customer already had the original app installed, yours won't even install over it. The serious rebrand compiles with a unique identifier: to Android, your app is your app.
Signing and file ownership. Who holds the key your APK was signed with? If the freelancer has it and disappears — gigs rotate constantly — you will never be able to publish an update to your own app. We sign in your name and the APK is yours, with its keys.
The DNS and the day after. The cheap rebrand leaves your server burned into the code. The day you change panels: new APK and a mass reinstall. The professional one comes with multi DNS manageable from a panel — you change the address in your panel and you're done. This one difference pays for the extra cost the first time you use it.
Revisions and support. The gig delivers and disappears; a revision is a new gig. The serious service includes rounds of adjustments and answers the WhatsApp when something won't compile on your customer's Fire Stick.
Continuity. And when the base app releases a new version? With a rotating freelancer, you start over from scratch with someone else. With a maintained catalog, you migrate your brand to the new version at a customer discount.
The honest math
Our rebrands run from 50 to 70 dollars for Android apps — not 500. Against the $5 gig, the difference is 50 dollars just once for your own package, signing in your name, multi DNS, a panel and someone on the other side. Split across your first twenty customers, that's 2.50 a head. That's the real price of not paying twice.
